Zaman Dark

Set in a volatile Lebanon, the story follows two unemployed chemists, Khattar and Anaïs, who attempt to survive by consuming human flesh. When Anaïs vanishes, Khattar becomes entangled in a trafficking operation. This illicit network involves exporting human meat to acquire advanced digital sniper weaponry.

This thriller was directed by Christophe Karabache, who also co-wrote the screenplay with May Kassem. In terms of the director's career, the film follows his 2018 work, Venus Obscura. The project was produced by Sami Awad and Cécilia Werkmaïster through production companies including VisioSfeir, Hot Zones Productions, and Cinema Group Film Foundation.
