God Save the Tuches

The Tuche family has settled back into a quiet life in Bouzolles when word arrives that Jiji, the grandson of Jeff and Cathy, has been chosen for a training camp with Arsenal. The whole clan seizes the chance to travel to England, where a meeting with the royal family awaits. What the hosts do not expect is that the Tuche name will leave its mark on the country.

Jean-Paul Rouve directs and stars as Jeff Tuche, with Isabelle Nanty as Cathy, alongside Claire Nadeau, Sarah Stern, Pierre Lottin and Théo Fernandez. The screenplay comes from Philippe Mechelen, Julien Hervé and Nessim Chikhaoui, and Ardavan Safaee produced. It is Rouve's second feature as director, following Les Souvenirs in 2014. The film was released in February 2025 and runs 101 minutes.

This French-Belgian comedy drew modest audience scores, with a rating of 4.4 on IMDb from 769 votes and 5.1 on TMDB from 159 votes. It took about 23 million dollars worldwide, a solid return for a family comedy and a sign that the series retains a following even where opinions are divided.
