Birthright

Following the death of his mother, Thomas returns to Brazil accompanied by his partner, Beni. He discovers he has inherited a rural residence that once belonged to a grandmother he never knew. Seeking a connection to his ancestry, Thomas visits the property and is warmly received by two aunts. While Thomas grows fond of the estate and the hospitality of his relatives, Beni becomes concerned that a sinister presence is hidden behind the peaceful appearance of the countryside.

This Brazilian horror mystery was directed by João Cândido Zacharias, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Fernando Toste. The film features Diego Montez in the role of Thomas and Yohan Levy as Beni, with Analú Prestes, Cristina Pereira, Luiza Kosovski, and Ana Carbatti appearing in the supporting cast. The project was produced by Tatiana Leite through Bubbles Project, Sony Pictures Entertainment Brazil, and Kromaki.
