Do Patti

Do Patti is an Indian thriller centred on twin sisters whose long-running rivalry becomes the focus of a police investigation. Saumya and Shailee have been at odds since childhood, and Shailee's determination to compete with her sister extends to the man they both love. A puzzling attempted-murder case brings Inspector Vidya Jyothi into their lives; she first encountered the sisters during an earlier domestic disturbance, and the new inquiry draws her into the secrets the family keeps.

Shashanka Chaturvedi directed the film, from a screenplay by Kanika Dhillon, who also produced alongside Kriti Sanon. Kriti Sanon plays both sisters, with Kajol as Inspector Vidya Jyothi, Shaheer Sheikh as Dhruv, and supporting turns from Tanvi Azmi, Brijendra Kala and Prachee Shah. Around thirty credited cast members and eighty-eight credited crew worked on the production, which was made by Kathha Pictures and Blue Butterfly Films.

The film runs 128 minutes and was released in October 2024. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.3 from roughly 71,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.8 from a much smaller number of votes. The gap between the two reflects how differently the two audiences have responded, with the larger IMDb sample settling at a moderate score.
