Skeletons in the Closet

Skeletons in the Closet is a horror thriller about a woman who has been pursued by an evil spirit since she was a child. In an effort to save her daughter from a terminal illness, the desperate mother agrees to let the entity possess her own body.

The film was directed and produced by Asif Akbar. It follows his previous work on Mojave Diamonds and MR-9: Do or Die, and precedes Boneyard and A Crime Story. The screenplay was written by Al Bravo, Joshua A. Cohen, and Terrence Howard. Howard also stars as Mark, appearing alongside Valery M. Ortiz as Valentina, Cuba Gooding Jr. as Andres, Udo Kier as Luc, Appy Pratt as Jenny, and Louis Mandylor as Santeros. The production involved Al Bravo Films, One Dollar Studios, and Beno Films.

Public reception for the movie has been generally poor. It holds a rating of 3/10 on IMDb based on 595 votes and a score of 4.4/10 on TMDB from 14 votes.
