The Discord

Guillaume Daubray-Lacaze is an inventor and mayor who secures a large order from Japanese businessmen for his air purification machines. Because he lacks the necessary factory space to fulfill the contract, he decides to move production into his own home. This decision creates a severe conflict with his wife, Bernadette, especially as the industrial expansion threatens her garden. In response to the disruption of her private life, Bernadette leaves him and seeks revenge by running against her husband in the mayoral election.
