Little Wing

Thirteen-year-old Kaitlyn struggles with depression after discovering her parents plan to divorce, a situation that threatens the loss of her family home in Portland. To resolve her mother's financial troubles and pay off the mortgage, Kaitlyn and her friend Adam decide to steal a valuable racing pigeon named Granger from a local breeder. Although the theft initially succeeds, the plan falls apart, leaving the girl in a more precarious state. Unexpectedly, the owner of the bird begins to care for Kaitlyn, and the relationship that develops between them helps her find a new perspective on life.

This drama was directed by Dean Israelite, following his work on Project Almanac and Power Rangers. The film was written by John Gatins, who also served as a producer alongside Naomi Despres. The cast features Brooklynn Prince in the lead role, supported by Brian Cox, Kelly Reilly, Simon Khan, Che Tafari, and Trinity Jo-Li Bliss.
