Blame the Game

Jan and Pia are a couple in the early stages of their relationship. When Pia invites Jan to a game night with her close friends at a villa in Berlin, Jan feels pressured to make a positive first impression. The evening becomes chaotic when Pia's former boyfriend arrives unexpectedly. The tension leads to a series of competitions and confrontations that test the couple's bond and the group's friendships.

The film was directed by Marco Petry and is the second project in his directorial timeline, following No More School and preceding Eat Pray Bark and My Best Friend, His Girlfriend and Me. The screenplay was written by Claudius Pläging. The cast features Dennis Mojen as Jan, Janina Uhse as Pia, and Stephan Luca as Matthias, along with Anna Maria Mühe, Axel Stein, and Edin Hasanović.
