Lust, Lies, and Polygamy

Ellen believes she has a perfect life with her new husband, Paul, who is affectionate toward her and her daughter when he is not traveling for work. However, the appearance of a stranger near their home leads Ellen to question Paul's frequent business trips and his possible connection to the intruder. As she suspects that something is altering her husband's priorities, Ellen attempts to uncover a series of lies to protect herself and her child, while facing the risk that Paul may try to stop her.

Directed by Amy Barrett, this 2023 American television movie is a drama and thriller produced by Hybrid and Lifetime. It is the second film in Barrett's directorial career, following It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder and preceding A Model Murder and Hats Off to Love. The screenplay was written by Adam Rockoff and features a cast including Alicia S Mason as Ellen and Tremayne Norris as Paul, alongside Maya Walker, Malynda Hale, April Hale, and Memphis Cade. With a runtime of 92 minutes, the film has received a rating of 5.3/10 on IMDb based on 141 votes.
