Agak Laen

Four friends run a haunted house attraction at a night market, and business is poor. Hoping to draw bigger crowds, they try to make the place scarier, but their efforts go too far when an older visitor with a heart condition dies of fright. To avoid trouble, the friends bury the body inside the attraction. The decision brings unexpected results: word spreads that the house is genuinely terrifying, and visitors start coming in large numbers. Their problem is far from solved, since the dead man's disappearance draws attention and strange things begin happening on the premises.

Agak Laen is an Indonesian comedy-horror film directed and written by Muhadkly Acho, released in February 2024. It was his first feature as director, followed the next year by Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku! The four leads, Oki Rengga, Boris Bokir, Bene Dion Rajagukguk and Indra Jegel, play characters sharing their own names, and the cast also includes Tissa Biani Azzahra and Arie Kriting, with 52 credited cast members and 101 credited crew. Ernest Prakasa and Dipa Andika produced it for Imajinari, Jagartha, Trinity Entertainment and Legacy Pictures.

The film runs 119 minutes and became a major commercial success in Indonesia, taking in about 20 million US dollars worldwide. On TMDB it holds a rating of 7.2 out of 10 from 35 votes, indicating a modest but positive response from users there.
