Lu is a conformist woman in her forties who discovers that her partner of fifteen years has been unfaithful. Seeking a fresh start, she moves back into her former apartment and meets her neighbor, a young man named Javier known for his womanizing ways. In an effort to secure a professional position, Lu lies during a job interview, claiming she has a nineteen-year-old son. To maintain this deception during a corporate weekend retreat, she convinces Javier to pose as her child in exchange for her tolerance of his loud parties.

This romantic comedy was directed and written by Ihtzi Hurtado, following his 2022 film Who's a Good Boy? and preceding his 2026 projects ¿Quieres ser mi novia? and Accidental Partners. The production was a collaboration between Mexico and the United States, produced by ViX and MarVista Entertainment.
