This documentary comedy explores the strained relationship between a son and his father centered around a large volcano sculpture. Gavin created the piece and stored it in his father's shed for five years, during which time his father repeatedly threatened to destroy it. Gavin hopes the artwork will bridge the gap between them and help his father understand his perspective, but he faces a significant obstacle as his father dislikes modern art and does not want to be part of the film.
The short film was directed by Gavin Reid and produced by The University of The West of Scotland in the United Kingdom. It has a runtime of 15 minutes. The cast features Gavin Reid, David Reid, Margaret Reid, Elizabeth McCaffary-Reid, and Ewan Reid appearing as themselves, with Danni McWilliams appearing in the role of a nurse.
