Overdrawn at the Memory Bank

A computer programmer named Aram Fingal becomes trapped inside a virtual simulation based on the movie Casablanca. After his government removes his access to the film, he finds himself stuck in a digital reality and must secure a way back to the physical world before his memory is erased.

This 1984 science fiction romance TV movie was directed by Douglas Williams and written by Corinne Jacker. It is a joint production between Canada and the United States, created by the companies Thirteen, RSL, and SFTV. The film features Raúl Juliá as Aram Fingal and Linda Griffiths as Apollonia James, with a credited cast of 29 actors.
