The Last Week of September

Pietro Rinaldi is an elderly writer and widower who has grown tired of life and intends to end it on his birthday. His plans are interrupted by a tragedy: his daughter and her husband die suddenly, leaving him responsible for their teenage son. The boy and the grandfather, who barely knew each other, must find a way to live together and face a new situation neither of them chose.
