Whistle

A group of high school outcasts finds an ancient Aztec death whistle, unaware that the object is cursed. When they blow into it, the haunting sound summons personifications of their own future deaths to hunt them. As the group faces increasing casualties, they attempt to uncover the history of the artifact to break the cycle of violence and escape their fates.

This horror mystery is a joint production between Ireland and the United States by Wild Atlantic Pictures and No Trace Camping. It was directed by Corin Hardy, following his previous work on The Hallow in 2015 and The Nun in 2018. The screenplay was written by Owen Egerton, and the film features a cast including Dafne Keen, Sophie Nélisse, Sky Yang, Jhaleil Swaby, Alissa Skovbye, and Percy Hynes White, along with 31 other credited actors.

Produced on a budget of 2 million USD, the film earned 5 million USD at the worldwide box office.
