Doin' It

Maya was forced to move to India as a teenager after her mother decided she needed more discipline following a compromising incident. Years later, she returns to the United States to seek investment for a mobile application designed for teenagers. To better understand her target audience, she takes a job as a substitute teacher at a high school. When her principal assigns her to teach sex education, the still-virgin Maya teams up with her best friend to seek out the adolescent experiences she missed during her own youth.

This comedy was directed by Sara Zandieh, following her 2023 film The Other Zoey. The screenplay was written by Neel Esh Patel, Lilly Singh, and Sara Zandieh. The film features Lilly Singh in the lead role as Maya, alongside Jessica Clement, Christian Martyn, Samantha Helt, Sonia Dhillon Tully, and Jeff Geddis. Produced by Likely Story, Unicorn Island, and Camelback Films, the movie has a runtime of 92 minutes.
