Ángeles and Pablo are doctors whose comfortable, settled life is upended when a new technology reveals that one of them has only a short time left to live. Faced with how little time remains for them as a couple, the two try to make the most of every moment and to face their most intimate fears and desires openly, while also thinking about what lies ahead for whichever of them survives. The Spanish comedy-drama Cuánto me queda, released in December 2023, was directed by Carolina Bassecourt from a screenplay by Marta Buchaca.
