Teasing Master Takagi-san

Set ten years after their time in middle school, this romantic comedy follows the reunion of Takagi and Nishikata. Takagi returns to her former school as a trainer, where she finds that Nishikata is now employed there as a physical education teacher. The two resume the playful and teasing relationship they shared as classmates, leading to frequent interactions as adults.

The film was directed by Rikiya Imaizumi, who previously directed His in 2020 and Call Me Chihiro in 2023. The screenplay was a collaboration between Imaizumi, Tomoki Kanazawa, and Jun Hagimori. The lead roles are played by Mei Nagano as Takagi-san and Fumiya Takahashi as Nishikata, with a supporting cast including Jin Suzuki, Yuna Taira, Maeda Oushirou, and Sara Shida.
