Set in Haiti during a presidential election, this film follows two amateur gangsters, Doc and Zoe, who are tasked with delivering the kidnapped son of a wealthy senator to their boss. After Zoe accidentally kills the hostage, the pair faces the wrath of their employer and a pursuing hitman. In a desperate attempt to avoid punishment and secure a ransom, they abduct a man named Patrick and his pregnant wife, Laura. Because Patrick strongly resembles the deceased son of the candidate, Doc and Zoe plan to pass him off as the original hostage.
Directed by Bruno Mourral, who also served as a producer and co-writer, the movie is a blend of action, comedy, crime, drama, and thriller. The cast includes Jasmuel Andri as Doc, Rolapthon Mercure as Zoe, Gessica Généus as Laura, and Ashley Laraque as Senator Benjamin Perralt. The production was a collaboration between companies from Canada, France, and Haiti, including Canal+ and Téléfilm Canada.
The film has a runtime of 107 minutes. Audience reception is mixed, as reflected by a rating of 5.7/10 on IMDb based on 396 votes.
