Set in post-Soviet Georgia, this drama follows Sandro, an introverted teenager left to fend for himself after his father enters a monastery and his mother moves abroad for work. Lacking stability and guidance, Sandro navigates a society caught between religious tradition and modernization. He forms a bond with Lasha, a youth connected to an ultra-right organization, while simultaneously struggling to understand his own developing sexuality and his relationship with faith.
The film marks the second directorial effort from George Sikharulidze, who also wrote the screenplay, following his 2017 work Fatherland. The production was a collaboration between companies from Georgia, Italy, Romania, and France. Data Chachua stars as Sandro, supported by a cast that includes Ia Sukhitashvili, Vakhtang Kedeladze, Malkhaz Abuladze, Salome Gelenidze, and Marita Meskhoradze. Produced by Vladimer Katcharava, the movie has a runtime of 95 minutes. Since its release in September 2025, it has received a rating of 6.5/10 on IMDb based on 260 votes.
