Undercover

Set in the Basque Country during the late nineties, this crime thriller follows a twenty-year-old police officer who infiltrates the terrorist organization ETA. To maintain her cover and gather intelligence for Spanish authorities, she spends eight years living under a false identity and severing all ties with her family. The conflict intensifies as she lives closely with the group's leadership, risking her life to provide information while the organization falsely claims a truce.

The film was directed by Arantxa Echevarría, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Amèlia Mora. In the director's career, this production follows Politically Incorrect and precedes A Sucker's Born Every Minute. The cast is led by Carolina Yuste, who portrays the undercover agent, alongside Luis Tosar, Víctor Clavijo, Nausicaa Bonnín, Iñigo Gastesi, and Diego Anido.
