Harriet Goodson is a librarian who believes that no man in the real world can compare to the fictional Mr. Darcy. After being magically transported into the world of Pride and Prejudice, she enters the story as the American cousin of the Bennet family. While navigating the social customs and balls of the era, she discovers whether the appeal of Mr. Darcy holds up when faced with reality.
