Following the death of her husband Ron, Lily moves into a small apartment with her son, Kevin. While officials suggest Ron committed suicide, Lily believes his death was suspicious and begins her own investigation. With help from her neighbor Marty and Ron's former colleague Angela, she discovers a conspiracy involving corporate sabotage and stolen patents.
