To the Arctic is a documentary that explores the research and discoveries made within the world's largest icy desert. The film focuses on the high-latitude Russian Arctic, filming remote and difficult-to-reach archipelagos across an area exceeding 10,000 kilometers. Featured locations include Novaya Zemlya, Severnaya Zemlya, Franz Josef Land, Wrangel Island, Ushakov Island, the De Long archipelago, and the New Siberian Islands, along with various other secluded northern regions.
The film was directed by ethnographer Leonid Kruglov and produced by Greenworks in Russia. It features Fedor Konyukhov and Boris Tokarev appearing as themselves. Released on February 29, 2024, the production has a total runtime of 108 minutes.
