Short description
Set five years after previous events, the story follows Zora Bennett, an expert in covert operations tasked with leading a team to obtain genetic material from the three largest dinosaurs on Earth. This DNA is believed to be essential for developing a life-saving medication. During the mission, the team encounters a family whose boat capsized, and the group becomes stranded on a remote island. Together, they face dangerous creatures and uncover a dark secret that has remained hidden from the world for decades.

The screenplay was written by David Koepp. The movie stars Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, alongside Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Luna Blaise. Produced by Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment, and The Kennedy/Marshall Company, the production had a budget of 180 million USD and earned 869 million USD at the worldwide box office.
Audience reception is mixed, with a rating of 5.8/10 on IMDb based on 189,000 votes and 6.3/10 on TMDB from 3,776 votes. These scores are slightly higher than the film critics' rating of 5.6/10 from 403 reviews.
