Redress

A renowned chef named Paskal Jankovski disappears during a hunting trip alongside his sous chef, occurring just hours before he is set to receive a third Michelin star. His twenty-year-old daughter, Clara, is left to manage the restaurant while facing intense scrutiny from the media. Two years after the disappearance, she is sent an invitation to attend a gastronomic congress in Taiwan.

This drama was directed by Régis Wargnier, who also wrote the screenplay with Manon Feuvray and Thomas Bidegain. Within Wargnier's career, this project follows his previous films Indochine and East/West. The movie is a joint production between France and Taiwan by the companies Cinéfrance and 687. The ensemble cast includes Julia de Nunez as Clara, Clovis Cornillac as Paskal, and JC Lin as Lian, with a total of 33 credited performers.
