Ryōsuke Yoshii earns a living by reselling various items online, often operating under a pseudonym. After leaving his factory job to focus on this business, he moves from Tokyo to a rural house with his girlfriend. However, his actions lead to the creation of enemies among his customers. He soon finds himself targeted by mysterious and threatening incidents that escalate into a dangerous struggle for survival.

The film was written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, marking the 14th of 15 films he has directed. It follows his 2024 production Serpent's Path and precedes The Samurai and the Prisoner.
