What's left behind the scenes
- The Nithari massacres, which served as the basis for the film, took place in a house in Sector 31, Noida city, Uttar Pradesh. The film's title refers to Sector 36, which is adjacent to Sector 31 in Noida, and not the exact sector where the crimes were committed. Furthermore, the filmmakers took cinematic liberties, moving the location of the events to Delhi.
- The film is based on a true story.
