The Family Man
Short description
A wealthy man named Georgiy spends his birthday in solitude. While intoxicated, he tells his assistant to find him a real family by the next morning. He later awakens to find a wife and two children who insist they have always been part of his life. Because his mother, business partners, and official records all support this claim, Georgiy must navigate the challenges of being a husband and parent, discovering that his wealth cannot fix every issue.
This Russian comedy was directed by Dmitry Vlaskin and written by Anna Davydova, Evgeny Grigoryev, and Svetlana Shteba. The production involved several companies, including Yellow, Black & White, QS Films, START Studio, and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The film was produced by Eduard Iloyan, Georgy Shabanov, and Lusya Dadalyan. Released on December 4, 2025, with a runtime of 98 minutes, the movie has received a very poor reception from viewers, holding a rating of 2/10 on IMDb based on 164 votes.

- The project began development at Marmot-Film studio in 2022 under the title "Family for Rent," with a screenplay by Alexei Zyuzin and Anna Davydova. Alexander Voitinsky and then Evgeny Grigoriev were considered as directors. Subsequently, the script was revised, and the project moved to QS Films and Yellow, Black & White studios, with Dmitry Vlaskin becoming the director.
