Strange Things in Western Hunan

In Fengmen Village, local traditions require burials to take place at night. Panic spreads through the community when a woman's body mysteriously appears inside a coffin. The villagers offer a reward to attract a Taoist priest capable of controlling the supernatural force. Feng Lengqing, a practitioner from the Taosha Sima sect of the Tao Dou Men, arrives to cleanse the haunted house of Yin energy. While utilizing his specialized combat skills to survive, he realizes the female corpse was part of a deliberate ruse. Despite this discovery, a man named Lao Jin uses threats to force the priest into a lethal situation.

The film was written and directed by Li Liming, appearing as the sixth project in the director's career, following Ghost Ship From Lop Nur. The cast features Purba Rgyal in the role of Master Feng Qingleng, alongside Wang Wanzhong, Zhaoyan Guozhang, Clara Lee, Shang Tielong, and Yue Dongfeng.
