Set in a future Paris divided into three social zones, the story follows a society monitored by a predictive artificial intelligence called ALMA. When the person who created the AI is murdered, two police officers from different backgrounds, Salia and Zem, must work together. Their investigation into the killing threatens to reveal hidden truths about the segregated system they support.

This action-thriller was directed by Cédric Jimenez, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Olivier Demangel. It is the fifth film in Jimenez's career, following The Connection, The Man with the Iron Heart, The Stronghold, and November. The movie is a joint production from Belgium and France, featuring a cast that includes Gilles Lellouche, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Louis Garrel, Romain Duris, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, and Stéphane Bak.
