Transit Times

Set in 1990s Chisinau, Moldova, this drama follows a year in the life of Zina, her husband Victor, and their daughter Eva. Living in a typical central courtyard, the family struggles to secure their financial future alongside their neighbors. Their personal hardships reflect the broader societal shifts occurring within the country following the fall of the Iron Curtain.

The film was written and directed by Ana-Felicia Scutelnicu, following her 2016 film Anishoara. The production was a collaboration between Germany, Moldova, and Romania, involving production companies Mobra Films, Weydemann Bros., and Youbesc Creative Institute. The project was produced by Jonas Weydemann, Jakob D. Weydemann, and Yvonne Wellie. Marina Palii and Ion Munteanu star in the leading roles of Zina and Victor.
