Sister Midnight

Set in the slums of Mumbai, this film follows Uma, a young woman who enters an arranged marriage only to find herself living in poverty with a cowardly and selfish husband. As she struggles with the harsh realities of her domestic life, she rejects her miserable situation and begins to surrender to her most violent impulses.
