A New Dawn

A New Dawn is an animated drama about Keitaro, a young man living in a long-established fireworks factory that faces imminent seizure and demolition by authorities. While dwelling in the abandoned facility, Keitaro attempts to complete a mysterious fireworks project known as Shuhari to honor his missing father. He is joined by his brother and a childhood friend, Kaoru, who returns home after a period of absence. Together, the three protagonists confront their pasts and struggle against environmental challenges and disasters to establish their own identities.

Written and directed by Yoshitoshi Shinomiya, this French-Japanese co-production was produced by Asmik Ace, Miyu Productions, and Studio Outrigger. The voice cast features Riku Hagiwara as Keitaro Obinata, Kotone Furukawa as Kaoru Shikimori, Miyu Irino as Sentaro Obinata, and Takashi Okabe as Eitaro Obinata.
