A Good Child centres on Jia Hao, a drag queen who comes home to look after his mother, Ju Hua, as she lives with dementia. The arrangement draws him into a deception that becomes a path toward healing and a reconsideration of who he is.
The Singaporean drama runs 105 minutes and was directed by Wang Guoshen, working from a screenplay credited to the same director and produced by Clover Films, Byleft Productions and One Tree Holdings. Richie Koh plays Jia Hao, with Hong Huifang as Ju Hua. The supporting cast includes Johnny Lu as David, Charlie Goh as Jia Hao's elder brother and Cheryl Chou as his sister-in-law.
Released in October 2025, the film is a family drama built around the relationship between a son and his ailing mother, with the contrast between his life as a performer and his obligations at home providing the central tension.
