A Mosquito in the Ear

A Mosquito in the Ear is a drama about an American couple, Andrew and Daniela, who travel to India to bring their newly adopted daughter home to the United States. Their plans are disrupted when the young girl refuses to leave the orphanage. This conflict forces the couple to confront unexpected challenges that change their perspectives on parenthood and their own relationship.

The film was directed by Nicola Rinciari, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Emily Dillard. It is an adaptation of the Italian graphic novel Una Zanzara nell’Orecchio by Andrea Ferraris, which recounts the author's own adoption process. The movie stars Jake Lacy and Nazanin Boniadi as the parents, with Ruhi Pal playing the daughter. The supporting cast includes Micky Singh, Sanya Sagar, and Amina.
