Short description

The Mystery Inc. gang travels to Scotland to attend the Highland Games and visit Daphne's cousin. During their trip, the group is terrorized by a creature resembling the legendary Loch Ness Monster. After witnessing sightings of a giant beast near a family castle and a sea serpent attacking a boat, the team works to uncover whether the famous monster is real or part of a larger mystery.

This animated adventure was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna-Barbera Productions. It was co-directed by Scott Jeralds and Joe Sichta. For Jeralds, the film followed Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico and Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire. For Sichta, it was the first of four films, preceding Scooby-Doo! in Where's My Mummy?, Chill Out, Scooby-Doo!, and Scooby-Doo! and the Goblin King. The voice cast features Frank Welker, Casey Kasem, Mindy Cohn, Grey DeLisle, Michael Bell, and Jeff Bennett.
