The Last Blossom

An elderly man serving a life sentence in solitary confinement prepares for death until he encounters a talking balsam flower named Housenka. Their interaction prompts the prisoner to reflect on his history. This leads to memories of 1986, when he lived in poverty with a woman named Nana and her son, Kensuke. While they shared moments of joy, the man struggled with a troubled past and internal demons, eventually leading to a permanent change in their lives.
