Lea is a young singer participating in a television casting show. When asked what makes her unique, she realizes she does not have an answer and begins experimenting with different identities to find herself. During this process, she develops a strong admiration for her aunt Kati, who has returned home after years abroad to lead the architectural restoration of a local palace. This homecoming reunites a family facing various struggles, including Lea's parents' recent separation and her grandparents' efforts to save their struggling pension from financial failure.

Written and directed by Eva Trobisch, this drama is her second feature film following Ivo. The movie features Frida Hornemann in the lead role of Lea, with Eva Löbau playing Kati. The supporting cast includes Rahel Ohm, Peter René Lüdicke, Max Riemelt, and Gina Henkel, among a total of 26 credited performers. Produced by ZDF/Arte, Komplizen Film, if...
