It Takes Two To Tango

Antoine Toussaint is a celebrated seventy-year-old French singer who has become disillusioned with his life. After a public health crisis leaves him feeling unable to perform, he boards a train to Geneva with the intention of ending his life. During the journey, he meets Victoire, an energetic and eccentric fan. Her intrusive and optimistic personality disrupts his plans, leading to an unexpected connection between the two.

This romantic comedy was directed by Jean-Pierre Améris, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Marion Michau. It follows his previous work, including Romantics Anonymous (2010) and Danse ta vie (2024). The film stars Gérard Darmon as Antoine and Valérie Lemercier as Victoire, with a supporting cast that includes Patrick Timsit, Alice de Lencquesaing, and Aurélien Cavagna.
