A filmmaker named Samgyi returns to Lhasa to produce a movie based on her early years. While dealing with creative doubts and frequent clashes with her father, she attends a party where she reunites with Lhamo. Lhamo served as the real-life inspiration for a character in Samgyi's project. As they spend the night together, Samgyi begins to recover detailed memories of a past summer that had previously existed only in fragments.

This Chinese drama was written and directed by Kangdrun. The cast features Tsering Yangkyi and Tangsang Lhamo in adult roles, with Tsekyi Metok and Dechen Banzom portraying the younger versions of the main characters. Tubdain Jigme appears as the father. The production was a collaboration between several companies, including Tibetan Antelope Films, Lhasa Longda Culture Communication, Tibetan Yiweng Culture Communication, and Beijing Magic Time Films. The film has a total runtime of 100 minutes.
