A Daughter

After the death of his wife, a middle-aged man named Pietro focuses entirely on raising his daughter, Sofia. The two develop an intense bond as they support each other through their shared grief. Years later, Pietro attempts to move forward by starting a relationship with a new partner, but this decision triggers a volatile reaction from Sofia. This creates a difficult conflict for Pietro, who must navigate his own anger while relying on his paternal instincts.

This Italian drama was directed by Ivano De Matteo, who previously directed Mia in 2023. De Matteo also co-wrote the screenplay with Valentina Ferlan.
