What's left behind the scenes

  • During the filming of the first scene, a group of neighbors gathered at the set and expressed their dissatisfaction, mistakenly believing that pornographic content was being filmed.
  • The main character, played by Jess Wakefield, went online to find out what was happening to her. As she rode her bike, billboards appeared on the streets advertising products that might be useful in her situation, specifically lingerie.
  • Nuclear power plants in the background suggest that the protagonist's anomaly was caused by radiation. According to director, screenwriter, and producer Mitchell Lichtenstein, the characters are so "naive and stupid" that no one notices their dangerous proximity to nuclear reactors.
  • In the scenes showing the nuclear plant cooling towers, thick black smoke is visible. However, unless there is a fire at the plant, the smoke should be white.
