Following the sudden passing of her father, a man obsessed with conspiracy theories, Carrie travels to Massachusetts to claim her inheritance. Alongside significant debt and legal complications, she receives a patent for an experimental medical device claimed to cure severe illnesses. As Carrie investigates the invention and meets the eccentric people her father knew, she navigates her grief and uncovers the complex delusions that defined his life.
