Charlotte

A young girl named Charlotte arrives at the home of a man named Roy during the night, seeking refuge from her abusive father. Although he has been drinking, Roy allows her to stay. Their initial interaction leads to an extended stay and a complicated bond. As Charlotte begins to trust Roy, the atmosphere becomes tense. Subsequent revelations make it unclear whether the two characters are truly who they claim to be or if the dynamic is that of a protector and a predator.

This thriller was directed by Georgia Conlan, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Martin Hardwick. Conlan appears in the lead role as Charlotte, acting alongside Dean Kilbey as Roy.
