What's left behind the scenes
- Cory, who played Gohan as a puppy, was found through an advertisement literally right before filming began, as finding a dog of that specific age in advance had proven problematic.
- Michok, the dog who played the young Gohan, was already a TikTok star by that time, which is where the film crew first noticed him.
- The director found Hima, the dog who played the adult Gohan, at a market in Chiang Mai and took him immediately to a veterinarian. He was cast for his "expressive face and striking appearance," becoming the first dog approved for a role in the film. In Thai, Hima means "snow."
