The Stork

Set in a quiet Montenegrin village where many residents have moved to the United States, the story follows three women striving for independence. Suta fights against expectations to marry the autistic twin brother of her deceased husband, while Vezire and Drane struggle to live together as their shared husband prepares to depart. Meanwhile, Fize seeks a wife for her son. The arrival of a stork causes unrest among the superstitious local population.

This drama was written and directed by Isa Qosja and is a co-production between Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Kosovo.
