Jesus 2

Jesus 2 is an animated science fiction comedy set in a universe where inhabitants are cursed with immortality. The story follows two characters who seek to end the widespread suffering of their eternal existence by attempting to kill a bothersome messiah. The film serves as a neo-psychedelic exploration of death and what happens after life.

Jesse Moynihan wrote and directed the film, and also served as an artist on Adventure Time and Midnight Gospel. This production marks the first film directed by Moynihan, preceding the 2026 release of Hungy Ghost. The project was produced by Aron Fromm and originated in the United States. The final runtime of the piece is eight minutes.
