Faceless

After being arrested as a suspect in a violent murder, Keiichi Kaburagi escapes and begins a journey across Japan to remain hidden. While on the run, he interacts with several individuals, including Mai, Kazuya, and Sayaka. Detective Matanuki attempts to track him down, but the investigation is complicated because the people who encountered Kaburagi provide conflicting descriptions of his appearance. The story explores the true identity and motives of the fugitive during his long disappearance.

This drama thriller was directed by Michihito Fujii, who also co-wrote the screenplay. It is an adaptation of the novel Shoutai by Tamehito Somei.
