Anemone

Anemone is a drama about two estranged brothers, Ray and Jem Stoker, who reunite in the wilderness of northern England. Ray, a former British soldier, has lived as a hermit for twenty years. When Jem visits him, the siblings are forced to confront the trauma and secrets of a shared past that was permanently altered by tragic events decades earlier. The story explores the complex emotional bonds and generational conflicts between fathers, sons, and siblings.

The film marks the directorial debut of Ronan Day-Lewis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Day-Lewis.
